Bourgade Catholic skates past Valley Lutheran with ease

The Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 61-31 stomp they got on the road against Valley Lutheran. For Bourgade Catholic, this counts as revenge for the 41-37 defeat Valley Lutheran walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.
Juliet Botiller continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. The contest was her eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Vanessa Arismendez, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds.
Bourgade Catholic's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Valley Lutheran, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Bourgade Catholic is on the road again on Friday and play against Benjamin Franklin at 10:30 a.m. on December 29th. Benjamin Franklin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Valley Lutheran won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Grand Canyon at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Jaemie Jensen and Elise Winter .
