Baseball Game Preview: Jupiter Warriors vs. American Heritage Stallions

The Jupiter Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the American Heritage Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Jupiter made easy work of Cardinal Gibbons and carried off a 13-5 win.

Ethan Trivison looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Jake Finnegan was a standout: he scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Griffin Miller, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, American Heritage gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over ABF Academy Homestead.

American Heritage also got a great performance from Noah Garfinkel as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits over 5.1 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Lucas Shahrabani was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Alex Zhao was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Jupiter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for American Heritage, their record now sits at 1-0.

Jupiter skirted past American Heritage 4-3 when the teams last played back in March of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jupiter since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
