Recap: Panther Creek Catamounts vs. Green Hope Falcons
The Panther Creek Catamounts stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 80-57 margin over Green Hope. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-17.
Panther Creek was led to victory by Logan Ware and Ja'tez Ward. Ware scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks, while Ward scored 14 points along with four steals. Chris Uwayo was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five assists and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Green Hope lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mason Dean. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Rafik Khismatov, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Panther Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Green Hope, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
Panther Creek will head out on the road to challenge Apex Friendship at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Panther Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Apex Friendship likes a good challenge. As for Green Hope, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Green Level at 8:00 p.m. Green Level will roll in looking for their 22nd straight victory, something Green Hope surely won't give up without a fight.
