Freedom is 8-2 against Deer Valley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Falcons will host the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Freedom and 14 for Deer Valley.

Freedom made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Liberty, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Falcons fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-3 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Falcons have suffered since April 15th.

JP Abenoja was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Those hits were his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Deer Valley fell victim to Pittsburg and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 20-0.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Deer Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

Freedom was able to grind out a solid victory over Deer Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, winning 4-0. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
