Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

St. Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Manchester Academy Mavericks, falling 15-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Fighting Irish of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

St. Joseph's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Manchester Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Manchester Academy beat St. Joseph by a score of 18-0 later that day.
