Basketball Recap: IDEA Montopolis Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

IDEA Montopolis entered their tilt with Wayside: Sci-Tech on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Everything went their way against the Wayside: Sci-Tech Ravens as they made off with a 67-47 victory. IDEA Montopolis has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Leading IDEA Montopolis to victory were Trey Sneed and Damarion Fisher. Sneed posted 23 points and five rebounds, while Fisher earned 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Fisher has scored at least a third of IDEA Montopolis' points. Another player making a difference was Rudolfo Najar, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards.

IDEA Montopolis' win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Wayside: Sci-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
