Volleyball Recap: Hebron Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

The Hebron Hawks beat the DeMotte Christian Knights 3-1 on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17.

Antonio Pena had a dynamite game, getting 15 digs and one block. He has been hot recently, having also posted 16 or more assists the last four times he's played.

Hebron was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive matches.

Hebron has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for DeMotte Christian, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Hebron will square off against Boone Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. DeMotte Christian has already played their next game (against South Shore Homeschool Athletics), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
