Flag Football Recap: Evergreen Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Evergreen challenged Pomona on Monday. The Cougars took a blow against the Panthers, falling 40-6. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Even if they lost, Evergreen's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Aspen Van Der Zee, Haley Hastings, and Lyla Willoughby, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Evergreen now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Pomona, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Evergreen has already played their next game, an 18-6 defeat against Golden on the 8th. Pomona does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
