Football Game Preview: Alameda Pirates vs. Lincoln Lancers + How To Watch

The Alameda Pirates will challenge the Lincoln Lancers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Alameda nor Lincoln posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

On Friday, Alameda had to suffer through a 59-6 loss at the hands of Denver West. The Pirates have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Alameda got top-tier performance from Christopher Garcia, who picked up 150 receiving yards and one TD.

Alameda didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Elias Pitones and Dominic Huerta.

Meanwhile, Lincoln scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mitchell.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Alameda, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Alameda against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 74-0 win. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
