Basketball Game Preview: Brandon Eagles vs. Riverview Sharks

The Brandon Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Riverview Sharks at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brandon has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 20.

Last Friday, Brandon came up short against Spoto and fell 60-53.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Messiah McKinley, who posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlie Pyron, who had 12 points.

Meanwhile, Riverview lost to Durant on the road by a 55-41 margin on Friday. The Sharks have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Riverview's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Brandon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Brandon was taken down by Riverview 70-41 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Brandon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
