Basketball Recap: Watkins Memorial Comes Up Short

Watkins Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 70-51 fall against the Granville Blue Aces. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 62-46 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Watkins Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Granville, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Watkins Memorial will challenge Licking Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Granville, they will take on Zanesville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
