Lane Tech came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 20-12 win over the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies. 20 seems to be a good number for the Champions as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Lane Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Angel Ativie and Ije Agbakwu. Agbakwu is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Ativie got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lane Tech's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Lane Tech wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 loss against New Trier on the 4th. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-0 victory against Leyden on the 4th.
