Baseball Recap: Poly Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Poly's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Sylmar Spartans on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-0 defeat on Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Poly and nudges their season record down to 12-11. As for Sylmar, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-6.

Looking ahead, Poly will take on Verdugo Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sylmar, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 victory against Valencia on the 25th.
