Softball Recap: Prosper Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Prosper won the last time they faced Plano East and things went their way on Friday too. Prosper came out on top against Plano East by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Prosper pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Plano East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Prosper is set to take on their familiar foe Rock Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Plano East will square off against rival McKinney Boyd at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
