The home team had won the previous three meetings between Mt. Hebron and Long Reach, and Long Reach kept the tradition alive. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Lightning on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Lightning recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-21.

Delaney Strawhorn was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 13 digs and one assist.

Mt. Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Long Reach, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
