Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Cholla's offense. They lost 14-0 to Douglas. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Douglas' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-7. As for Cholla, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.
