Lake Country Lutheran typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Martin Luther proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Lightning with a 75-70 win. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lightning, too.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Country Lutheran lost, don't look at Jake Burow. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-16 on his way to 24 points and five boards. The game was Burow's 11th in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Hans, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Martin Luther is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Lake Country Lutheran, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-5.
