Basketball Game Preview: Layton Christian Academy Eagles vs. Provo Bulldogs

The Layton Christian Academy Eagles will head out to face off against the Provo Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Layton Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Provo likes a good challenge.

Layton Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Mountain View 86-54 on Tuesday. With the Eagles ahead 49-29 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Provo played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 74-64 win over Uintah.

Layton Christian Academy pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Provo, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.

Layton Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Provo in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 56-44. Does Layton Christian Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Provo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
