Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Brookhaven Academy's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Brookhaven Academy won the last time they faced Bowling Green and things went their way on Thursday too. The Brookhaven Academy Cougars walked away with a 50-37 victory over the Bowling Green Buccaneers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Brookhaven Academy has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Bowling Green, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Brookhaven Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bowling Green, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Amite School Center at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
