Soccer Recap: Venus Takes a Loss

Venus lost against Ferris back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Venus Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Ferris Yellowjackets.

Venus has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season. As for Ferris, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Venus will face off against Alvarado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Venus is facing Alvarado at the right time seeing as Alvarado is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ferris, they will take on Godley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ferris will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Godley will have lost five straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
