Baseball Recap: Rolla Victorious

Rolla won against St. Charles West on Saturday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Marshfield Bluejays. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 victory the Bluejays walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Rolla and bumps their season record up to 10-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Marshfield, they moved to 8-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Rolla has already played their next contest, an 8-2 win against Washington on the 17th. As for Marshfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Republic on the 17th.
