Baseball Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short

Dickinson managed to slip by McNair Academic the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Cougars on Friday, falling 15-3.

Dickinson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominick Fernandez, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Fernandez is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Ziggy Puchowski was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Dickinson's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8. As for McNair Academic, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Coming up, Dickinson will head out to square off against Weehawken at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for McNair Academic, they will host Hoboken at 4:30 a.m. on Monday.
