Softball Recap: Williamston Hornets vs. Portland Raiders

Williamston waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Portland Raiders. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 9-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Thea Fortin made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. Fortin was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
