Volleyball Recap: Eastlake Comes Up Short

If Eastlake was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bonita Vista on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans fell 2-0 to the Centennial Golden Hawks on Friday. The Titans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Hawks from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Eastlake has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-16 record this season. As for Centennial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-8.

Eastlake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Palo Verde on the 10th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against San Dieguito Academy on the 10th.
