Half Moon Bay's game on Thursday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on the Aragon Dons with a sharp 40-20 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Aragon's loss came despite strong showings from Isaiah Johnson and Nick Castroviejo. Johnson threw for 304 yards and two TDs while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt, while Castroviejo picked up 157 receiving yards and one touchdown. Castroviejo was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 61 yards.

Half Moon Bay's record is now 5-3. As for Aragon, their record now sits at 4-4.

Coming up, Half Moon Bay will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillsdale at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aragon, they will face off against Woodside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
