Volleyball Game Preview: Altamont Longhorns vs. Monument Valley Cougars

The Altamont Longhorns will square off against the Monument Valley Cougars at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Altamont is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Manila by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Longhorns in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley earned a 2-0 victory over Escalante on Friday.

Altamont's record now sits at 10-19. As for Monument Valley, their record is now 20-10-1.

Altamont was able to grind out a solid win over Monument Valley in their previous matchup back in October of 2016, winning 3-1. Will the Longhorns repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
