Hamilton Southeastern has gone a perfect 7-0 against Zionsville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Royals will venture away from home to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Hamilton Southeastern is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, who was ranked 12th at the time (Hamilton Southeastern was ranked 11th). The Royals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Tuesday.

Hamilton Southeastern couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Indianapolis Bishop Chatard a tough time in the first set. The final score came out to 31-29, 26-24, 13-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Zionsville had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Trojans.

Zionsville took Indianapolis Bishop Chatard into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 23-25, 25-14, 15-9.

Hamilton Southeastern better focus on containing Landon Scroggins and JT Norris as the pair were huge in Zionsville's win. Scroggins had 23 digs and two aces, while Norris had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Scroggins has posted since back in March.

Hamilton Southeastern's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-6. As for Zionsville, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Hamilton Southeastern beat Zionsville 3-1 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Do the Royals have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
