Softball Recap: Buffalo Grove Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Buffalo Grove can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Libertyville Wildcats on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bison have suffered against the Wildcats since April 3, 2019.

Buffalo Grove saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erin Ryan, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Buffalo Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Libertyville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Buffalo Grove will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mundelein at 4:30 p.m. The Bison's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. Libertyville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
