Volleyball Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western lost against Harper Creek back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beavers.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Harper Creek scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 18-25, 25-22.

Western's defeat dropped their record down to 32-8-2. As for Harper Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-16 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western will host Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harper Creek, they will welcome Tecumseh at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
