Volleyball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren Warriors. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 22-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Allia Rush paced Morgan's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rush got some help from Kaidence Searl and her 12 assists. Madalyn Schaad controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Warren, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Morgan has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sheridan on the 2nd. As for Warren, they will take on Parkersburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
