Volleyball Recap: Noble & Greenough's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Noble & Greenough waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lawrence Academy Spartans. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Noble & Greenough's got stronger as the match went on, holding Lawrence Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18, 25-9.

Kailynn Zheng paced Noble & Greenough's offense, picking up ten kills. Zheng really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. She also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ernestine Schaffer, each putting up four.

Noble & Greenough now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lawrence Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Noble & Greenough will face off against rival Middlesex at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lawrence Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Rivers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
