Basketball Recap: Larkin Takes a Loss

Larkin's tournament run continued when they took on Grant Community on Thursday. The Larkin Royals took a 65-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grant Community Bulldogs.

Larkin's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Grant Community, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Larkin will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Streamwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Grant Community also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
