Preview: Bedford vs. Concord
Concord may have come out ahead in their last matchup, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge Bedford on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The odds don't look promising for Concord, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
Concord took care of business in their home opener. They skirted past Nashua South 28-26. The tight race was right in line with the MaxPreps state rankings' forecast.
Meanwhile, Bedford had to kick off their season on the road last week, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Nashua North as they made off with a 31-7 win.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-0. We'll see which team can carry over they success and which team inevitably falls when Concord and Bedford clash.
