Softball Recap: Bradford Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Bradford dropped their record down to 10-9 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They lost 6-0 to the Keystone Heights Indians. The game marked the first time this season in which the Tornadoes were not able to get on the board.

As for Keystone Heights, their record now sits at 8-14. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 5th (when they won 17-4).

For Keystone Heights' part, the result came thanks to Kadence Massey's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks. Massey has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cadie Bowles, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.

Coming up, Bradford will take on Newberry at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Tornadoes' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Keystone Heights, they will host Ridgeview at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
