Morgan Park Academy waltzed into their contest on Saturday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Perspectives/IIT Wolves by a score of 2-0.

Cece Drown had a dynamite game, getting ten aces and five digs. Those ten aces gave her a new career-high.

Drown wasn't the only good servers: Morgan Park Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive matchups.

Morgan Park Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Perspectives/IIT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Morgan Park Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Back of the Yards College Prep on the 11th. Perspectives/IIT does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
