Basketball Recap: Merrimack Takes a Loss

Merrimack was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Bishop Guertin Cardinals, falling 68-16. While losing is never fun, the Tomahawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 76th, while the Cardinals are ranked ninth).

Merrimack's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bishop Guertin, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Merrimack will welcome Dover at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Guertin has already played their next game (against Wachusett Regional), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
