Baseball Preview: Danville Little Johns vs. Two Rivers Gators        
        
		
            
 Danville has been on the road for two straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Two Rivers Gators at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Two Rivers took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Danville, who comes in off a win.
 Even though Subiaco Academy scored an imposing 12 runs on Tuesday, Danville still came out on top. Danville had just enough and edged Subiaco Academy out  14-12.
  Jaxson Brents was  incredible,  scoring five  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances.  Jac Callahan was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Two Rivers' offense. They suffered a  rough 18-0 loss at the hands of Booneville  on Friday. Two Rivers just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
 Danville has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record  this season. As for Two Rivers, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
 Danville took their  victory against Two Rivers  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  20-1. Does  Danville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Two Rivers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
