It was a good run, but Tylertown unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to the St. Patrick Fighting Irish. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-21 on January 3rd.

Tylertown's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for St. Patrick, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tylertown will face off against Perry Central at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for St. Patrick, they will head out to square off against Our Lady Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Our Lady Academy has won nine straight at home, while St. Patrick won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
