Volleyball Recap: Yelm Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Yelm lost against Sumner back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tornados lost 3-0 to the Spartans. The Tornados have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 25-20.

Sumner can attribute much of their success to Kassidi Lelli, who had 19 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Lelli has posted since back in September.

Yelm's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Sumner, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Yelm is set to face off against their familiar foe South Kitsap at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Sumner will challenge rival Spanaway Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
