Football Game Preview: Bishop Feehan Shamrocks vs. Chelmsford Lions + Official Tickets

Bishop Feehan has won three straight games at home, while Chelmsford has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Shamrocks will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Bishop Feehan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.4 points per game this season.

Bishop Feehan gave up the first points two weeks ago, but they didn't let that get them down. They strolled past Taunton with points to spare, taking the game 31-14. Given the Shamrocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Tigers are ranked 87th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Andrew Orphanos was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 186 yards and two scores, and also caught one touchdown. Owen Mordas was another key player, rushing for 30 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bishop Feehan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 216 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Chelmsford had no trouble coming through when it counted. They snuck past Quincy with an 18-13 win on Friday.

Chelmsford now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bishop Feehan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Bishop Feehan beat Chelmsford 24-12 when the teams last played back in September. Do the Shamrocks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
