Manheim Township (Lancaster, Pa.) trailed
Cedar Crest (Lebanon, Pa.) by 20 points at one time, but managed to come all the way back and secure a 28-26 victory on Saturday.
After nabbing the lead on a rushing touchdown, the Falcons went into halftime with a 14-0 lead. The Blue Streaks scored the winning points with a
Nathan Seprinksi touchdown run that came in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring 21 points in the third, Manheim Township still trailed by five points going into the fourth quarter. But seven points in the fourth helped MT pull out the victory.
The Lancaster school didn't take the lead for good until the the fourth quarter when Seprinksi ran for a touchdown.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 47-13 win for the Blue Streaks.
In a Lancaster-Lebanon 1 game next week Cedar Crest (2-4) takes on Hempfield, and Manheim Township (4-2) will go up against Penn Manor also in a Lancaster-Lebanon 1 game.
