Football Recap: West Covina Comes Up Short + How To Watch

West Covina dropped to 7-3 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They were beaten by the Northview Vikings 35-0. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Elias Irvin threw for 44 yards on six of 13 attempts. On the ground, Gabriel Murrillo rushed for 26 yards.

As for Northview, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Considering they have won five matchups by more than 24 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Northview's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Guillen led the charge by rushing for 136 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries. Jaishon Bledsoe was another key pass catcher, gaining 129 total yards and two touchdowns.

As of now, neither West Covina nor Northview have any future games scheduled.
