Soccer Recap: Denver Christian's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Forge Christian kept up with Denver Christian until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Thunder blew past the Fury 4-1. It was an even better day for Lyla Scullion as she scored three goals for her team.

The win was the fourth in a row for Denver Christian, bringing their record up to 7-4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four contests. As for Forge Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-2 record this season.

Denver Christian will face off against Dawson School at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Dawson School will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Denver Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Forge Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 0-0 victory against St. Mary's on the 26th.
