Basketball Recap: Yonkers Comes Up Short

Yonkers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-42 loss to the Hendrick Hudson Sailors.

Yonkers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hendrick Hudson, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Yonkers will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Nyack at 5:45 p.m. As for Hendrick Hudson, they will face off against Lakeland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
