Basketball Game Preview: Green Bay Preble Hornets vs. Bay Port Pirates

Green Bay Preble is 2-8 against Bay Port since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Green Bay Preble Hornets will square off against the Bay Port Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Green Bay Preble has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Green Bay Preble against Green Bay Southwest as the team secured a 66-11 win. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Fighting Trojans are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bay Port didn't have too much trouble with Pulaski on Monday as they won 45-29. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Green Bay Preble's record now sits at 11-7. As for Bay Port, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Green Bay Preble ended up a good deal behind Bay Port in their previous meeting back in January, losing 69-50. Can Green Bay Preble avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
