They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Holmes Knights. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Quakers couldn't push the score so high this time.

New Philadelphia's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 12-3. As for West Holmes, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5.

While New Philadelphia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
