Wilson Prep had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Woods Charter Wolves 57-23. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Wilson Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was MyAngel Brimage, who on her way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Brimage is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Nakiya Boston, who to rack up 18 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Wilson Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive rebound total in three consecutive matchups.

Wilson Prep pushed their record up to 24-1 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for Woods Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Cougars on Friday. One thing working in Wilson Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Woods Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
