Baseball Recap: Arroyo Valley Comes Up Short

Arroyo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 6-1 to the Colton Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

Arroyo Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Uriel Diaz, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Arroyo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Colton, they moved to 6-12 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

While Arroyo Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
