It was a good run, but Lighthouse Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 43-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Union Christian Day. Lighthouse Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Union Christian Day apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played last Thursday.

Union Christian Day got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Landon Gregory out in front who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaeden Brown, who scored 11 points.

Lighthouse Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Union Christian Day, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian Academy will take on Hawthorne Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Union Christian Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orangeburg Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Orangeburg Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
