Softball Game Preview: Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado vs. Murray Tigers

The Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado will square off against the Murray Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Murray took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Paducah Tilghman, who comes in off a win.

Paducah Tilghman is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-8 win over Trigg County.

The team relied heavily on Hailey Mooney, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Baylee McMinn, who scored a run and stole Three bases.

Meanwhile, Murray was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to Hickman County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Falcons since May 11, 2017.
